Must be an IKF, WKA, NKA, AKRA, TAG USA member and compete in a ‘senior’, ‘masters’, ‘junior 1 or 2’, Woman's, or SPEC* 206 class in North America or Canada. Racers must compete in a minimum of 7 weekly racing series events in this calendar year with the last race being completed by 9/26/22. Racers may compete in the WRS at numerous tracks and clubs. However, they must complete a minimum of 7 races at each track or club. Multiple tracks or club points will not be combined. Racers can participate in more than one class at the same track or club BUT only their top total score will be eligible for a prize (multiple prizes will not be awarded to any one racer at a single track or club). IF a racer competes at two DIFFERENT tracks or clubs then they will be eligible for multiple prizes based on their final points.
Must race the Briggs 206 engine in accordance to the Briggs & Stratton rule set for the given country. Junior and below classes must run the Briggs & Stratton slide system.
*Spec is defined as a single chassis 206 class. Each Spec class must be approved before being accepted.
Work with your track or club to make sure results reach us in a timely fashion. Failure to receive timely information will impact individual results and overall participation (see track requirements).
All race results will be submitted by the track/club only. Any discrepancy must be addressed by the racer to the track/club directly and resubmitted by the track/club within 10 days of posting.
Any racer at any time can contact us at BriggsRacing@basco.com to be removed from this program per your track or club agreement. Prize winners will be responsible for any taxes from winnings.
Must be a sanctioned and insured SPRINT track/club in good standing with WKA, IKF, TAG USA, NKA, or AKRA.
This is a 'club' program intended to support local racing at a SINGLE facility. Traveling series, organizations, or associations are not eligible for this program. A 'club' can participate in this program as long as they are structured without a known home track and meet all of the sprint track/club and general eligibility criteria.
Must run the Briggs & Stratton factory rule set in its ENTIRETY. Changes not previously submitted AND approved by Briggs & Stratton Racing will result in disqualification from this program.
Must submit a minimum of 7 races to maximum of 10 dates (allowing for weather and/or to give racers more flexibility to participate).
Final results must be submitted within one (1) week following the WRS event.
All race results will be submitted by the track/club only.Any discrepancy must be addressed by the racer to the track/club directly and resubmitted by the track/club within 10 days of posting.
Tracks that fail to submit results within two (2) weeks of the WRS automatically forfeit ALL racers points for that race and will lose eligibility for our discounted generator program and any additional special offers throughout the year. While we will make every attempt to prevent this from happening, timely results are the basis of this program for ALL tracks and racers involved.
Tracks that fail to submit results within two weeks twice will be removed from this program and all racers points will be frozen.
Any manipulation of WRS results will bring immediate removal from this program including ALL racer points.
This program is designed to benefit the racer and local tracks/clubs and maintain the integrity of the Briggs & Stratton 206 program. These penalties are intended to insure that points are as current as possible for participating racers and tracks/clubs.
Tracks found not to be following the Briggs & Stratton rule set or any other eligibility requirements will be forfeit all prize eligibility and be removed from this program. Racer points will be frozen.
